White Horse, PA, Wed., Feb. 25

Just a note to say Hi and we are back on the road again! What a great stop to start with after
a great week at home in Big Valley! I have had alot of new experiences here at White Horse.
I have the opportunity to help pack lunches in the morning for about 24 different schools in the
area. We do around 200 every morning. The children are here bright and early to help also.
What fun! And the food???? Every day we have bacon, egg, and cheese, or ham and cheese,
or hotdog with cheese logs (they are all made inside a pretzel dough) they are great!
Last evening they made special ones for the canner guys and committee people, AND
for Loren and I... they were steak and cheese with onions and a sauce, WOW, were
they good!!! and then of course they have warm soft pretzels all day also!
Also, yesterday we had the opportunity to visit with Oksana Oleynikova from the Good
Shepherd Shelter, from Ukraine. She told us that they had received some of the canned
turkey that was canned here in White Horse, PA. now that was exciting to hear!
Well, thanks to my neice, Katie, here in Leola, and her precious little Josiah, they allowed
me to use there computer to update my blog! And to my sister, Carolyn, we had lunch together
today, a fun time! We are canning at a farm/butcher shop and with generators. A great time
here in White Horse!
Sure hoping to hear from you all, love to get those "comments"
