Good Morning! A wonderful evening with family... and a great Chinese dinner! Thank you Merv and family for a wonderful
evening! Merv is my first cousin. I have been very fortunate
to visit with many cousins here in Goshen and also making many new friends! Yesterday they served 216 here for lunch. That is
alot of volunteers!!!!! Loren is getting quite spoiled..... the photo is
of a banana cream pie a lady brought in special for him! but then
so am I, she also brought me a cookbook! :)
Had a super delicious breakfast this morning, a local hog farmer brought in fresh smoked sausage! Delicious!!!!!

During our two-hour dinner Loren and Wanda shared and surprised us nonstop with their personal experiences with their many new friends, fantastic hosts and hostesses, and the high, relentless energy of local teams, some of whom put in 20-hour work days. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, and I could feel the electricity of a purpose larger and stronger than I could have every imagined. Thank you, Loren and Wanda, for that precious time together, and for your personally conducted tour of the canning in full progress the next morning.
